ABOUT ME
I'm a second-year Technical Theatre at Sandwell College. Specialising in stage management, lighting and sound. I have worked on many college shows: Plays, musicals and pantomimes.
Sound has been the one that I have specialised the most often in. Out of college, I got the opportunity to work with a DJ for an awards ceremony. I was only supposed to help with the lighting but when he heard that I had experience with sound he let me send the tracks. Then, he ended up letting me run all of sound on the sound desk. They were using mics and had a group of beatboxers play.

I have created a few lighting states throughout my course in college. Using generic lanterns, movers and rushes to create the desired look. I enjoy focusing the lanterns the most and rigging much more than making the states.

I have experience in Stage Management and as a Deputy Stage Manager. I've found being a DSM the best part of my course. Seeing Rehearsals and creating a prompt copy and writing up show reports. I was the DSM for Act 2 of a pantomime in 2021, it was the first role i ever got at college and learnt so much about working in a team and how to work under pressure under a time limit.
